Can you believe it's the first day of spring? I love spring, I love the blossom on the trees, the pastel colours and the sunshine. Although, in Britain the weather is slightly unpredictable, for example, last year it was still snowing in April. Crazy right?
Anyway, back to the point, I am doing another Embakes post today, and this one was another little experiment.
200g bar of dark chocolate
280g soft brown sugar
3 medium eggs
100g self-raising flour
Bar of galaxy
- Set aside 50g each of the nutella and chocolate. Heat the oven to 180'c and line a 20cm square baking tin with baking parchment. Gently melt the remaining nutella, chocolate and all the sugar in a pan, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has just about melted. Turn off the heat and use a wooden spoon to beat in the eggs one by one. Stir in the flour and scrape the tin. Then stir in the cubes of galaxy once cooled
- Melt the reserved nutella in the microwave on High for 45 seconds, then drizzle over the brownie. Then bake for 30-35 minutes until it has a crust, but the middle still seems slightly uncooked.
- Finally cut into squares and serve warm or cool.
