Autumn Makeup Tutorial

Hello Everybody,
Today I thought I would do a little autumn makeup tutorial, as I has recently changed up my makeup look to make it more suitable for autumn time, and I really like it, so I thought this was a great opportunity for me to give you a bit of a makeup tutorial. So, I hope you enjoy this post and that you give it a go when you next have the chance.
Recently my skin has actually been really good to me so I have given my face a little break from foundation as it really doesn't need it at the moment, and I would say that if your skin is nice enough also, and you feel confident enough without it, then drop the foundation from your daily makeup for a little while. However, I still used a little bit of my Collection Lasting Perfection concealer under my eyes and on some red patches to make my skin look a little more flawless. I also set this and made my skin look less shiny with my Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder. I then used my Soap&Glory Glow All Out on the apples of my cheeks to give me a bit more colour.
For my eyes I firstly used Trick from my Naked 3 palette on the lids of my eyes and into the crease, because I think this beautiful bronze colour is super autumnal. I then used my Maybelline Gel Liner to create a cat eye look, because I think the darker the eye the better sometimes, and I have been really enjoying my cat eye lately, even though it has taken it's time to master. I actually skipped mascara completely, mostly by accident, but to be honest it was barely noticeable because my eye liner was making such a statement.
Finally for my lips I use Revlon's Kissable Balm Stain in the colour honey, because it isn't too dark but is a really nice plumb shade of pink. The trick with these balm stains is the more you build it up the darker the lip, which I really love.
I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial, and try it for yourself.

Autumn Fashion Staples #teenblogseries

Hello Everybody,
I have a new #teenblogseries post for you all and this week I am going to be talking about Autumn Fashion staples, which I am quite excited about as I do quite often forget to write fashion related posts, even though I absolutely love fashion.
Source: Weheartit Edited: BY ME!!

There are all sorts of boots out there that you can get, but my personal preference are ankle boots. There are all sorts of types... Timberland's, Doc Marten's, Chelsea Boots, Brown lace ups, they all look equally as great in the Autumn time, and they can also transition into the winter time too as they are so warm and versatile. You can literally wear them with anything, be it jeans, dresses or even a pair of shorts and tights. If there is anything you need to buy this Autumn it is a pair of boots.

People have different preferences for the size and shape of their jeans, for me, as I have quite a petite but tall frame so I prefer to wear skinny jeans, But in the autumn I particularly like slightly distressed skinnies, which is a shame because my school won't allow ripped jeans,

Mittens and Scarfs

I actually did one of my favourite blog posts on this last year, and that is about mittens and scarfs. Firstly, mittens keep your hands super warm, yet look 10 times nicer then normal gloves, and scarfs can literally change any look, there are so many different scarfs out there. From snoods, to cable knit, to little sheer dressy scarfs, they can all complete a look whilst keeping your neck warm all at the same time. You really couldn't ask for much more.

Cosy Jumpers

My final Autumn fashion staple has to be cosy jumpers. I love that there are so many different thicknesses of jumper now, that you can be prepared for any type of fluctuating autumnal weather. My favourite type of jumper are the thick oversized, pastel coloured cable knit jumpers, and I totally need to buy some more when I have enough money too. These are particularly comfortable when worn with some nice leggings.

I hope you liked this little fashion post.

Skincare Sunday// Simple Soothing Eye Balm Review & EXCITING NEWS!!

Hello Everybody,
Today I have my normal Skincare Sunday post but with a little bit of a twist, because at the end of this post I have a little announcement to make, which I am very excited about. If you follow me on Twitter however you will already know about this, but I will be adding a bit more information on here.
Back to the main purpose of today's post and that is the fact that it is Sunday which means I have another skincare review for you which is part of a 4 part series. Let's jump right into this...

The packaging of this product is very much like what the Simple Eye Roll-on is like, as in it comes in a little box, with instructions, little diagrams and any other useful information that to be quite frank, I normally forget to read. However, I do really like the fact it comes in a box because it means it is less likely to get damaged on it's journey home. I also really like the tube that the eye cream comes in because the end only lets a little bit of product out at a time, meaning I don't use it all at once.

I mean, my eyes aren't particularly bad but I like to care for them as much as possible because eyes tend to age the quickest. But, I do think it leaves me with brighter eyes in the morning, and my dark circles definitely seem to be fading. So, with this product and the eye roll-on my eyes have actually been looking pretty happy, and everybody loves smiling eyes.

This Simple Eye Balm is £3.99 most places which I think is a pretty good price considering I think it will last a while as you really don't have to use much. Also I got this for free as I did use a Boots 3 for 2 offer, so it was even more of a bargain for me. I highly recommend you look out for the 3 for 2 offers at boots as they can save you quite a bit of money.

For some time now Elizabeth and I have been planning a little project to help beauty, fashion and lifestyle bloggers find eachother on the internet. We decided to start a blog together where any beauty, fashion or lifestyle blogger can guest post on. We are super excited about this project because we want to find new blogs, and I am sure you all do too. The blog is FblBloggers Unite and you can find out more information about it there, or alternatively you can email elizabethemilybloggers@gmail.com where either Elizabeth or I will be very willing to answer your questions and help you become part of this little community.
I hope you are just as excited about this news as I am, and I will see you tomorrow.

My Autumn Essentials

Hello Everybody,
Emily has another Autumn themed blog post? What are you talking about? She did one a couple of days ago? No... she can't be!
Of course she is!! Emily loves autumn, and will do many Autumn themed posts until she runs out of ideas!
My first Autumn essential has to be candles, I mean, the specific types of candles. When I talk about Autumn candles I mean the spicey and bakey ones. None of that fruity and floral nonesense, because it's Autumn. No one wants a summer smelling Autumn candle...that is just a big fat no no! Particular autumn candle favourites of mine are Yankee candle Salted Caramel and also Cinnamon Sticks. They both smell delicious.
My next Autumn essential is probably blankets. We need blankets okay!? Save your heating bill and snuggle up instead. Blankets are so super cosy and great for cuddling up after a long day. Perhaps even cuddling up with a hot mug of cocoa, or snuggling down at night with a nice cup of camomile tea.
Then, how can I miss talking about moisturiser. People seem to forget that although it is important to moisturise to keep your skin healthy in the summer you should still do it in the winter; it stops your skin becoming sore and chapped. I like to use Vaseline's Cocoa Butter Spray and Go moisturiser for my body because it is super easy and convenient to use. I then use a Bodyshop Hand Lotion to moisturise my hands.
Finally how can I go on about Autumn without talking about the perfect pair of boots. Nice lace up brown ones that are furry on the inside and fold down. They would be perfect. So when I find some that are affordable that will be my Autumn essenials sorted.
I hope you enjoyed this post,

I love Autumn Tag!!

Hello Everybody,
Today I have a little Autumn themed tag post for you all, as I did one last year and thoroughly enjoyed it, because as you may well know, I absolutely love love love Autumn. I thought this was the perfect time to do an autumnal themed tag post because as you may well know Autumn officially started yesterday. YES!!
Picture sources; Weheartit, edited by me.

What is your favourite Autumn lip product?

My favourite Autumn lip product has to be Maybelline's Colorsensational Hollywood Red lipstick. It is the perfect deep red colour, and is just so autumnal, cosy and glamorous all at once. There really isn't much more you could ask for. However, I am going to be purchasing the Rimmel Kate Moss 107 lipstick this autumn because I do absolutely adore it.

What is your favourite Autumn nail polish?

Hmmm... I am loving the new Barry M autumn collection, but as I don't actually own any of them, the next best thing is my Barry M Pink Silver Glitter nail polish, which is absolutely perfect for Autumn, because everything should be a little more sparkly in Autumn, don't you think?

What is your favourite Sturbucks Autumn drink?

Salted Caramel Latte!! Can we just talk about it? It is salted caramel and latte... it is absolutely heavenly and I really want one... RIGHT NOW!!

What is your favourite Autumn candle?

Okay, this is becoming a running trend, but the salted caramel Yankee Candle of course. Salted Caramel is my favourite Autumn combination, so a candle version of the perfect flavours is just the BEST!

What is your favourite scarf?

I have a pink and blue tartan scarf from Primark which I am absolutely loving at the moment and it is definitely my favourite Autumn scarf right now.

What is your favourite Haunted House ride?

The Disney one, because it is tame and I don't like scary things like that because I'm a whimp and used to have really bad nightmares, and once when I was on the one at Alton Towers I completely panicked and was hysterical for ages afterwards. I mean... I was about 8, but I would still never go in it again, walls just shouldn't move!

What is your favourite Halloween movie?

There are Halloween movies? Can I just stick to Monsters Inc.? That's scary right?

What are your favourite sweets to eat on Halloween?

Hmmm... Refresher Bars, because they contain sherbet, and I love sherbet... enough said.

What are you dressing up as for Halloween?

People are thinking about this already? Ermmm...?

What is your favourite thing about Autumn?

EVERYTHING!! Hot chocolate, crunchy leaves, rainy days, cosy evenings, scarfs and gloves, boots, dark lipstick, big jumpers, leggings, candles.... EVERYTHING!

Okay, before I completely break down in hysterical excitement because it is now officially Autumn I am going to go... but I tag, hmmm... I don't know. Everyone? All of you? JUST DO IT!

My Skincare Routine #teenblogseries

Helloooo Everybody,
I have another #teenblogseries post for you all which I am indeed very excited about, because it has something I have wanted to share with you for a while since it has changed, and that is my skincare routine. For me I believe skincare is really important, particularly as I suffer with sensitive and combination skin.

Morning Skincare

1. Cleanse with the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub.
2. Moisturise with the Simple moisturiser.
3. Use the simple Eye Roll-on to wake up those pesky tired eyes.
4. Moisturise lips with Nivea's orginal lip balm.

Evening Skincare

1. Remove makeup with Simple makeup wipes.
2. Cleanse with the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub.
3. Tone with the Simple Toner
4, Moisturise with the Simple moisturiser.
5. Apply Simple's eye cream.
6. Use Lush's popcorn lip scrub
7. Apply Nivea's lip balm
8. Apply hydrocortisone on my eczema patches on my neck.

I hope this inspires you and your skincare, but remember, yours doesn't have to be the same as mine, as long as you are doing what works for you that is all that's important.
I hope you enjoyed this post and I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Skincare Sunday// Simple Eye Roll-On

Hello Everybody,
Firstly I should really apologise for not blogging yesterday, but I was quite busy and I didn't want to write a rubbish and rushed post as I was rushed for time. But, today I am back and with another Skincare Sunday post and today I am reviewing the Simple Revitalising Eye Roll-on. Yay!

The packaging of this is really good actually. It firstly comes in this little box, with this side flap thing *ooh cringy words*. But, that is not the thing I really like about this product really. The thing I absolutely love is the little tube it comes in. The actual applicator thingy majig is a metal roller, which is absolutely perfect because it is really cool and great for battling those awful dark circles that we all get on Monday mornings.

The obvious function of this eye roll-on is that it battles the dark circles and also it wakes me so much!! In the morning this has been a life saver since I have been back to school, because the tired eyes are a common morning battle. I really do believe that this product really does what it is supposed to do and I think you should all buy it.

It's £5.49 which I honestly think is really good price considering the product does exactly what it is meant to do, also it was part of the 3 for 2 offer that Boots were doing on Simple skincare products, therefore it was even more of a bargain.
I hope you enjoyed this little review and I will see you tomorrow.

Homework Motivation & How to Organise a School Planner

Hello Everybody,
Today I thought I would be really lovely and give you guys some lovely homework advice, because we all hate it but have to do it. Also, I seem to be quite a nifty homework doer, which probably seems like a really weird thing to have in your bragging rights, but it also means that I am always on top of my homework and never have to spend all Sunday doing it.

Homework Motivation

I don't know whether it is just me, but I really like to know that I have done my homework and that I won't have heaps of it to do later, and for me that is enough motivation for me to do my homework. However, I do know that a lot people really do struggle to just get their heads down and do it.
Firstly, if you have study periods at school use them to study rather then socialise, you will find that this way you will have a lot less to do at home,  and it makes your time in school a little more worthwhile.
Secondly, set a time period in the evening to do your homework, for me that is 4:30-6:30pm, this gives me time to have a little chill when I get in the front door and then knuckle down and do some work for a good couple of hours afterwards.
Also, prioritise your homework... don't just do the easy bits first, do the bits that are due in first, first, so that way you can relax and know that everything will be done on time. This also gives you chance to find help if you cannot do it.
Reward yourself... perhaps after finishing all of your homework, have a chocolate bar or a packet of sweets. Know that it is okay to have a treat every now and again, especially if you know that it is going to motivate you to work harder.
When you are in your study space make sure that it is somewhere without distractions. For example, I find it easier to do my work on my dining table rather then the desk in my bedroom because there are less distractions there and I also have more space there. Also, if you have to do online research make sure you don't get distracted by other internet luxuries. This is why I find myself doing most of my research in the school library.

School Planner Organisation

My biggest tip is to make sure that you record absolutely every piece of homework you are given, or every piece of private study you are told to do.`This way you can ensure you didn't miss something, and you are getting all of the correct work done. Also, you should write down any important dates in your planner, such as exams and community projects.
I like to use colour in my planner to not only make it look cooler, but to also to make my planner easier to read. I will highlight the subject in yellow, and then highlight the due date in green when the work is completed. I also highlight any homework I do not understand in pink so that I remember to ask for help when I am at school.
I hope this post helps you become more organised and motivated to do you homework.

School Evening Routine

Hello Everybody,
As I am hoping you would have all seen, last week I did a post on my School Morning Routine, so I thought that today, would be a good day for me to write about what I do when I get home from school also, in case some of you are either nosey and want to know what I do, or simply need help creating an evening routine yourself.
When I get home at about 4pm, I like to grab myself a quick snack, and check all of my social media accounts, and I occasionally watch a little bit of TV also. At about 4:30pm I then like to do my homework that I recieved on the day. Sometimes I will get too much to do for one night, but I like to do as much as possible until my dinner is ready so I can keep on top of it...
Then, clearly I eat my dinner, after packing away my school bag. Once I have finished my dinner I will then head upstairs and get out of whatever I have been wearing for the day, and if I have a club, such as swimming, hockey or explorers I will get ready for that.
If I do not have a club I will then give myself a bit of relaxing free time on my bed. I will either go on my laptop and watch Youtube videos, catch up with blogs, go on twitter or window shop. Go on my phone and spend hours on Weheartit or all of my social medias. Or even watch some TV... a few of my favourite TV programmes are Casualty, Holby City, X Factor, Virtually Famous or even My Mad Fat Diaries or Happy Valley when they are on.
At about 9:30pm if I haven't been out in the evening I like to try and turn off all of my electronics, although I will be honest and say I do find this fairly hard. I will then go for a shower, do my skincare routine and get ready for bed.
Once I am all cosy in my pajamas I like to snuggle up in my bed and read a book, and occasionally I will listen to a bit of music on Spotify... I am really liking the song Tee Shirt by Birdy at the moment, which believe it or not is another Fault in Our Stars soundtrack, but we all know that I loved the choice of music for that film. I will then try and turn my light out at about 10:30pm, after putting on some hand cream *that bit is important guys!*.
I hope you enjoyed my school evening routine and I will see you on Thursday I believe.

Healthy Diet Tips (not a recipe) #teenblogseries

Hello Everybody,
It's another #teenblogseries post today and I am writing a healthy recipe healthy diet tips blog post. Okay... so the proper theme was to do a healthy recipe, but I've decided to rebel and do something a tiny bit different, and write about my healthy diet tips. I'm hoping I can motivate you all to eat a little bit healthier, as I do like to think I eat healthily most of the time.
Source: Weheartit

Eat more Fruit and Veg!!

To be fair, we are probably all probably sick of hearing people telling us to eat more fruit and vegetables, but it really isn't hard to start getting into better fruit and veg eating habits. Switch out your packet of crisps in your lunch box with another piece of fruit, not only is it more nutritious, but it also gives you much more energy then a bag of crisps would.
Trust me... you don't have to have the boring old banana if you don't want to... there are plenty of different fruit to try from, and if you don't want to fork out on more exotic fruits, check the back of the supermarket for the rejects because they don't fit sizing standards. They might be cheaper, but they taste exactly the same.
Also, buy some dip for your vegetables. One of my favourite snacks is to have is a platter of vegetables (carrots, pepper and cucumber-yes I know it's a fruit) with a low fat hummus dip. Not only does it taste great but it is also super filling and will count for some of your 5 a day.

Drink more water!!

Okay... we all say it, but how many of us actually do it? How about you try new ways of drinking more water? For example, set certain times of the day that you drink a pint of water. Have one in the morning before leaving for school, drink a bottle whilst at school, have another when you get home from school and have another with your dinner. It is a quick and easy way of getting into a good habit, and also won't get in the way of your day, because you will probably only have to go for a wee in your breaks.

Use the Eatwell Plate as a guide.

As an AS Level Food Tech student of course I had to put the Eatwell plate somewhere in this post. It is the easiest guide you will ever have to use to ensure that not only you are eating healthily, but also for you to ensure your diet is balanced. Besides, for your diet to be healthy you need to ensure you are getting all of the right food inside you.
No! Believe it or not completely banishing carbs from your diet isn't healthy, you need to have some in your body to replenish energy. Just ensure you are eating the right type of carbs, for example, swap your white bread for whole grain, etc.
I hope this post helped you in some way, and that you begin to think about healthier food choices from now on, and if you would like to view some of my healthy food recipes, then you can find some here.

Skincare Sunday 1/4- Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub Review

Hello Everybody,
I am going to be doing a short Sunday series for 4 weeks, starting this week, reviewing a few new skincare products that I have picked up lately. I am not going to be doing a skincare routine in this series, however, I do have one coming up very, very soon.
Today I am going to be talking about the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub to kick start this series, as I mentioned it in my August Favourites and you guys have most probably been patiently waiting for me to write about it.

I actually really like the fact that this daily scrub comes in a tube type packaging, because I feel that whenever I buy one with a pump on it, although it looks handy, all of the product gets stuck down the sides and you end up wasting it all. Before I was using this I was using the Clearasil daily wash and I had to keep filling it with water and giving it a good ol' shake to get the product unstuck from the sides. I really do think that the fact this doesn't have a pump with it means I will have a lot less problem getting the product out.

Yes... stupid and pointless category for some, but for me smells are important. I have a sensitive nose and if I don't like the smell of something it won't be going anywhere near my nose.Thankfully, I like the smell of Pink Grapefruit, and it smells exactly as it states. With a few obvious soapy hues, but that doesn't bother me because it makes me smell clean, and I like clean.

Does it work?

I think it does, I mean... my skin hasn't been it's best lately, but it's improving now. I love how it has some microbeads in it, so it scrubs my skin well, and makes it feel nice and clean. But, I also feel like it has been controlling my breakouts, and believe me, when my skin breaks out, I mean it!

I'm pretty sure this product costs around £4.50, which for a daily scrub is actually sooo good, as usually I find myself spending a lot more on a facial cleaner. Not only that, but it can be bought in most drugstores and supermarkets, thus it really isn't too hard to get your hands on.

I hope you enjoyed this little skincare review, and I will be back with another Skincare Sunday next week, but for now. I'll see you tomorrow with another #teenblogseries post.

3 things I couldn't live without!! #teenblogsunite

Hello Everybody,
Today I am writing my first post for a new blog series called  the #teenblogsunite series which I am getting involved in. Yep, I am getting involved in another series, but I like them... so... ha! Anyway, I have actually failed at the first hurdle and this is already being to be put up late, but that is because I was waiting for my new laptop battery to charge *fingers crossed this one is actually working so far* and therefore I had to wait to write this post.
Today's post is going to be about 3 things I couldn't live without, however rather then me saying the literal things like food, water, shelter, or the cliché things like friends, family and my blog. I am going to talk about actual objects that I would probably struggle to live without.

For me, I would be pretty stuffed without my glasses because I wouldn't be able to see much and my life would probably be a constant headache. Like seriously, I really get headaches so bad when I know I need new glasses. Anyway, my glasses are part of me, part of everything I have achieved, and in some ways I actually prefer wearing them to my contacts most of the time, purely because they are part of my identity and I can see better out of them.

Well... when I say my Laptop, I mean wifi as well. I need it for blogging, school, research, and all of the random questions that I need answering late at night. But it is also where I keep a lot of pictures and videos of the favourite memories in my life. Also, it's like my friend on lonely and boring days. I'm sure I'm not the only one that goes on my laptop all of the time when I am bored.

I'm an internet child. I need my phone, mobile data, twitter, youtube and everything that I get on it to keep me going, I'm sure I could live without it, but my life would probably be quite different. Plus, I couldn't keep in contact with my best friend as well as we do, as we no longer go to the same schools and I like to catch up with her via text, even if it is only once a week. She is my chummy after all.

I hope you enjoyed this post.

Jica Nail Magic Review

Hello Everybody,
A few months I did a post about Jica Lash*, and at the same time I was also sent a product by Jica called Nail Magic*, which is a nail strengthener and conditioner. I was quite excited about this product, however I wouldn't necessarily say I have much trouble with my nail strength. The reason for this posts delay however, is because it takes a while for this product to work, therefore I didn't want to do a dishonest review and wanted to wait a while.

The product comes in a tinie tiny 7.4ml bottle which is packaged in another box, which is good because it keeps the little glass bottle secure on it's travels to your home. The little bottle the product is in itself is very slim and sleek, and I very much like that because it also means it is very portable. I also really like the purple colour scheme that the bottle has, as well as it's very professional looking branding. However, the brush was a little frayed and odd, which makes the product tricky to apply.

Doing it's job

I think that this product does it's job, however as a baker I haven't consistently been wearing it, as I'm not really meant to have things on my nails when cooking. I definitely see a difference when I do use this product however, particularly as I do have one nail that has a tendency to peel, and it does seem to be much better after use, however not completely better, but again that could be to do with my inconsistency of use.
The product actually instructs you to use it twice a week for 8 weeks and then once a week until the product runs out after. I've been a bit naughty and not followed these instructions *slaps wrist* whoops. The great thing about this product however, is that it can be used as a base and top coat, and therefore can be worn with actual nail colours. But it does stink terribly.

The Nail Magic* costs £10.45 which I do think personally think is a bit pricey for how much product you get. However, if you are somebody that has really damaged nails and wants to get them fixed with an affordable product, then I do recommend this.

I hope you enjoyed this review.

School Morning Routine

Hello Everybody,
As most of us are back to school now *if you still go to school that is* I thought it would be the perfect time for me to talk you through my school morning routine, in the hope that I can help you guys become more organised and punctual on your school mornings. This is also perfect for me to post as I am one of those people who is all about organisation and routine and is rarely ever late to anything.
Firstly, I set my alarm for 6:45am, which is a reasonable time for me as I leave my house at 8:10am. I then get straight out of bed, this wakes me up and stops me from dozing back off to sleep. I then go straight to the bathroom and wash, I wash my face with a facial scrub and apply some moisturer. I also use an Eye roller, which really brightens my eyes and wakes me up. I don't shower in the morning because I honestly do not have time, so I do that in the evening.
I then get myself into my days clothes, which I like to choose the night before so I am not rushing around and I do not end up with outfits spread across all of my floor. After that I do my hair, which I tend to just do in a bun or ponytail, but if I am feeling extra adventurous I might do something more exciting like a plait or complex up do. I then do my makeup which I like to keep really minimal and basic for school.
Afterwards I head downstairs and grab some cereal and a glass of juice, which normally doesn't take me very long to eat. Once I have finished my breakfast I head upstairs and brush my teeth, because you've got to have fresh breath and sparkling teeth for school.
After this I like to check my bag and planner, double checking that I put all of my due in homework in my bag the night before. I also have a quick tidy of my bedroom and open my curtains and make my bed, whilst checking everything in my room is switched off.
I then head downstairs with my school bag, and pack my lunch and fill up my water bottle, and also grab a snack for my break time. I then put some shoes on and look on my phone and all of my social media accounts, until it is time to leave at 8:10am.
I hope you enjoyed my morning routine post and it helped you in some way.

Favourite Highstreet Shop (TOPSHOP) and Picks #teenblogseries

Hello Everybody,
I hope you are all well, and aren't too gloomy because it is a Monday which means it's the beginning of another working or school week. It's actually been my first day at school today: I would tell you how it went, but as I am sneakily scheduling this post I can't really, but fingers crossed my first day in sixth form went swimmingly.
In today's post I am going to be telling you what my favourite highstreet shop is and what my favourites bits there at the moment that I love and what I want to buy.
To be fair, this is probably like more of a wishlist for myself because I don't often buy a lot from Topshop, mainly because it isn't the cheapest shop on the highstreet, however at the moment it does seem to have the nicest selection of stuff and I really did struggle to narrow this list down. I would say that most of the things that I picked are very much transitional clothes for summer into Autumn.

For tops I have a mixture of t-shirts and shirts, with a mix of some pastel, monochrome and darker colours, which is perfect for the colder months. The first t-shirt I fell in love with was a pink scalloped t-shirt, which is perfect for transitioning summer into autumn, paired with some blue jeans and boots. I then have a stripy t-shirt with a pocket, which I think will look great with some black jeans and white shoes. I then chose two aztec type printed t-shirts which have quite warm and cosy colour tones in them, which also would look lovely paired with some high-waisted blue jeans and maybe some brown boots. My last two t-shirt style tops are both quite monochrome, one that is quite sheer and dressy and another that is very basic with white polka dots, but given the cute factor with an adorable collar.
I also fell in love with a few shirts, which is not surprising as I do currently have a bit of a shirt obsession now the weather is getting a tad cooler. The first shirt is black with a white double diamond print on it, and it looks absolutely perfect for cooler months and the print is so cool. The other shirt is a casual blue shirt which will look great with some jeans and a messy bun on days that you really don't want to make too much of an effort with.

There were only a couple of jumpers that I really fell in love with, however I will probably fall in love with even more when the weather begins to get even colder. The first jumper is a kind of mustard yellow, and I love wearing the colour yellow so it is right up my street. I also love how this jumper has ladders in it, giving it a more edgy and cool vibe, and it also makes the jumper a bit more casual. Another jumper I love is a little pastel blue one, which is super cute because it had a tiny drop hem, which I always thimk is super girly and flattering on myself.

Firstly, I fell in love with some Washed Black Jamie jeans, mainly because I love high waisted jeans because I can worry less about showing off my bottom to people when I am sitting down. But also because I think black jeans *but not too black* look really nice in the autumn months, especially if you want to be giving off a bit more of a monochrome look. Speaking of monochrome, I also fell in love with a pair of dog tooth leggings. I love leggings because they are super comfortable, so these are just perfect for me.

My final picks from Topshop are some socks, because how can you go into Topshop and ignore their 3 for £8 deals. The first couple of socks I loved are both frilly, one pair is black, because I believe they would look really nice with some black shoes. The other pair of frilly socks I liked are just some simple blue ones. I also liked some long socks, one pair which is are white with a black grid pattern on them. I also liked a cute pair that have doughnuts on them, because... doughnuts.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I will speak to you all tomorrow.

What is in my School Bag? 2014

Hello Everybody,
I know I'm a bit late with this post, but if you follow me on twitter you will be well aware that the hunt for my perfect school bag has been a little trickier then first anticipated. Basically, the bag I fell in love with online had been discontinued when I went to buy it, so I hunted up and down for it. But it turns out my Mum managed to pick up my beloved bag when she the other side of the country for work, and managed to get hold of the last one in stock.
My bag is a brown leather batchel from Accessorize, which unfortunately you can't buy anymore because this was the last one in the country. I absolutely love it because it is really  cute, preppy, but also really practical and spacious.

The Main Pocket

Firstly in the main pocket there is a zip up pocket which I like to keep my keys, my purse and also some hair ties that I like to keep in a cute little tin. There is then also a couple of pockets at the front of the main compartment, one that is the perfect size for my phone and another that I keep a mini paddle brush in.
In my actual main pocket I keep a pink water bottle, because we've got to say hydrated whilst at school. My pencil case and my week to view school planner, so I have something to keep me organised and on track with my homework. I also have a big notebook that contains dividers so I can keep my subject notes seperate. I also have a binder that is full of dividers and ruled paper, however I am unsure as to whether I will be carrying this to school with me everyday. Finally, I keep a 30cm ruler in there and a calculator because they are the obvious school essentials.

Pencil Case

In my pencil case there is:
-2 Bic Pens (one spare, I don't take anymore because they get stolen otherwise).
-2 HB Pencils
-An eraser
-A pink Pritt Stick
-Coloured pens, to make my notes look more decorative.
-12 colouring pencils
-5 Coloured highlighters for making important notes stand out.

Front pocket

In my front pocket I keep mainly beauty essentials, that you may not necessarily need, but they are the kind of things I carry around with me everywhere. In this pocket I keep a tin with my girly bits in *you know what I mean*, a little perfume sample, a compact mirror and some cute cupcake print tissues. I also keep whatever lip product I am wearing in the front pocket too, and for school I really love Maybelline Baby Lips. I also take a mini deodorant by Dove because you don't want to be smelly whilst around school. I also take a mini tube of hand cream with me to school because I get really dry and sore hands, particularly in the winter. Finally, I have my beloved Bodyshop hand sanitiser in my front pocket also because school can be a very germy place.

I hope you enjoyed this Back to school post, and if you have started already I hope everything is going well. What have you got in your school bag?

New Beginnings #2014bloggerchallenge

Hello Everybody,
Today's #2014bloggerchallenge title was very vague, being called "New Beginnings" but I have decided to go with the flow and make a bit of chatty post, because I do love a bit of a chatty post every once in a while. And, I think it's nice for you guys to catch up with me sometimes too. Today in fact, is quite an apt day for me to talk about New Beginnings as I have just been into my Sixth Form to confirm all of my subjects that I am taking this year, and will be starting this Monday.
When I talk about New Beginnings I don't want it to be just for my education/career path, I want it to be about my lifestyle, my happiness, well being and every other aspect of my life. Sometimes it is just nice to be able to sit back and reflect on what you have achieved, and then also realise that sometimes there isn't enough time to sit back and be the quiet one who doesn't take risks and face fears.
Yeh... sure there are times when you have to listen to the advice of others and do what they want you to do also, but we also have to listen to ourselves. We are our own motivation. New beginnings aren't about starting afresh and being a different person, but about developing the character you already are.
For my new beginning story I am opening a new chapter, furthering my education, but also furthering myself as a person. Doing things I might have once been afraid of, developing on my flaws and creating many more memories for myself.
I am challenging myself, doing things I might have never wanted to do before, but most of all having fun. This September I am going to start focusing on my more creative outlet, my social skills and being as positive as I can. But I am also going to listen to my heart, just because I want to face fears and be braver doesn't mean I can't say "No" to things I simply do not want to do, it means that when I have that feeling of excitement and curiosity at the pit of my stomach, I will give it a go.
I thought about making a list of things that I want to achieve for this new beginning, but, I'm not going to, because it is only important to myself. But I believe that you should all fight for what you think is important whilst starting with new beginnings too.
Good Luck,

Back To School Shopping Haul

Hello Everybody!!
I am back today with another Back To School post for you all, and this time it is a little clothing, skincare, makeup and bits and bobs haul, which I am very excited about. Before I start I should mention that I am doing a What is in my School Bag post on Saturday hopefully. I know that is a bit late, but my bag is currently 100 miles from me, so it's not really possible for me to do it yet.
I bought a lot of the things yesterday because I am going Back to School next week and also needed more clothes as I do not have a uniform for school this year as I am going into Sixth Form.

This is actually something I bought online before I went shopping with my friends yesterday, and it the world's biggest, furry, parka coat ever. It is so snuggley and whenever I see it I wish it was cold enough to wear it already because it looks so much warmer then the coat I was wearing last winter. I bought it from ASOS and it was reduced to £29 from £75, so it was such a bargain and I love it.

I'm pretty sure I buy this every time I go shopping so it wouldn't surprise me if these have been featured in a haul before, but I just had to make a quick rush to Bodyshop to pick up some more hand sanitisers. I love the smell of them, and they are super good for school, because let's be honest, schools can be pretty disgusting at the best of times. Not only that, but I was originally only going to pick up just the Pink Grapefruit hand sanitiser but then I was told they were on Buy One Get One Half Price and because I always repurchase them I thought I might as well pick up the Mango one whilst I am there as well.

I did have to have a quick stop in WHSmith whilst I was out shopping yesterday because I needed to pick up a 2015 blogging diary, because ever since I've been blogging everyday my creative juices have been flowing like crazy and I have already got blogging plans for January and February next year. I only bought a tiny black one, but it is the perfect handbag size and I really love carrying my blogging diary everywhere with me.

From Primark I picked up a couple of T-Shirts and I kind of wish I bought more because you can get so much for such little money, plus the Primark I went to is surprisingly nice. Firstly I bought a Jungle Book t-shirt because I love the book and the film and I am also a volunteer at a Cub Scout Pack, and if you didn't know, British Cub Scouts are Jungle Book themed. I also bought a slouchy blue t-shirt with white stripes. It's the perfect comfortable t-shirt for back to school and it was only £2.

From Superdrug I bought some large cotton pads because they are a necessity it any girls skincare pack, and I had just run out so they were kind of an emergency buy. I also bought a really pretty Barry M nail polish which I had seen people like Anastasia and Lilly wearing on their nails in their videos and I thought it was a really pretty colour and it is the Gelly High Shine nail polish in Rose Hip.

From H&M I bought a few more clothes that I kind of needed for my wardrobe anyway, so they weren't impulse buys or anything. The first thing I picked up with a green and blue plaid/checked shirt, which I really wanted for my autumn wardrobe and thought it would be great for when it cools back down when I am at school. I also bought a Disney jumper with Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse and Goofy print all over it, as I wanted a Disney jumper for when I go to Disneyland Paris in February.

The final place I bought some bits from was Boots, and I really wanted to take advantage of the 3 for 2 offer on Simple Skincare. For that reason I bought the Simple Kind to Skin Replenishing Rich Moisturiser which I wanted to get as I was running low on moisturiser. I then picked up some Eyecare bits, I firstly picked up the Kind to Eyes Revitalising Eye Roll-on to help wake up my tired eye when I get back to school, and then on the offer I bought the Kind to Eyes Soothing Eye Balm.

I hope you enjoyed this very long shopping haul post and I will be back on Thursday with another post for you all.
By the way, I thought I should tell you all the my blogging schedule is now Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, although I may occasionally do a special post on other days, but we will have to see.

Best Foundation & Brow Routine for Teens #teenblogseries

Hello Everybody,
I'm not even daily blogging anymore, but I am still posting because, well, why not? Today's topic for the #teenblogseries is Best Foundation and Brow Routine for Teens. Now... I'm not 100% sure this is the best routine for either, but it is what I use and it works for me, so I guess that is all that matters.

Foundation Routine

My foundation routine is pretty simple really, I moisturise first, because I have heard that is meant to be good. I think it is to do with balancing the oils in your skin, but I don't really know, so don't count me on that. I then apply my foundation, at the moment I am using L'Oreal's True Match Foundation, which is actually a little heavy for my liking, but I am trying not to spend loads of money on unneeded products, however, if I was to choose my favourite foundation it would be Rimmel's Match Perfection. I then use Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer on any blemishes, and under my eyes to hide imperfections and brighten my complexion. I tend to use my hands *they are washed before hand* for all of my foundation routine, because I'm not a big foundation brush fan, and feel like I get more of an even coverage when I use my hands.

Brow Routine.

Okay, firstly I tend to pluck my eyebrows once a month, I spend only a short while on each brow because I don't want to go overboard and I still want my brows to look natural. Next, when I am actually filling in my brows I like to cover them in Vaseline, I don't think anybody ever does this but it smooths them down and points them in the right direction, so it also means that any colour I add next applies better, plus, it works well for me. Most of the time I will then use my Eylure Brow Pencil to fill my brows in, and then use the spoolie to make the pencil blend in. But if I want more of a statement brow, then I will use an eyeshadow, usually two shades darker then my hair colour and use the Real Techniques Brow Brush to fill them in.

I hope you liked my routines, and it maybe helped you in some way, but please be aware that I am not an expert in any way.
